How to choose your 10th grade courses

In preparation for your 10th-grade year, it is necessary to schedule your classes for next year.

Each 10th-grade student is required to take the following classes:

                 English 10                 World History & Geography

Each 10th-grade student is required to select a math course. 
  • Most sophomores take Geometry.  If you are currently in Honors Geometry, select Honors Algebra 2.
Each 10th-grade student is required to select a science course.
  • Most sophomores take Biology. If you are currently in Honors Biology, select Honors Chemistry
Math Science Center candidates should choose MSC AH Algebra 2 & MSC AH Chemistry.

Sophomores choose TWO electives.  Click the button below to see descriptions of all courses.
  • Students with an IEP should consult with their Special Education teacher to see if Transitions will be required as one of your electives for next year.
  • Math/Science Center students must select MSC AH Computer Programming as one of their electives.
